The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), through its centres, departments and institutes, presents an offer of 102 official university Masters programs for the 2013/2014 academic year.
Since the 2006/2007 academic year, university Masters programs are the first realisation of the new configuration of university studies within the European Higher Education Area. They are directed to provide students with more advanced, specialised or multidisciplinary training. Among the professional fields to which they are directed is research.
We recommend that you begin with the consultation of the offer, in order to have an overall view of it. From there, you can focus on the Masters program that interests you and where to find, among other information, classes, required entrance exams for its implementation and, importantly, "information about the Masters program". Don't forget that there are Masters programs that lead to doctoral programs with a statement of quality and that enrolled students have a chance to receive grants awarded by the Ministry for being enrolled.
Once decided the Masters program or programs that interest you, you should know the steps you have to take for admission and enrolment. This information is found in the Masters Program syllabus.
All the information necessary for any other procedures, like credit transfers, etc., is also available in the normative.
Other useful addresses are the addresses of the Basque Government, the Ministry and the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), where calls for grants and aid are published, for which PhD students may apply.
